Start your Thanksgiving Day out right with the 2011 Blue Ridge Turkey Trot happening at the downtown Blue Ridge City Park on Main Street in Blue Ridge, Georgia on November 24, 2011. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in this fun 5K run/walk. Awards will be given to the top three male and female.
Check in and on site registration will begin at 7 AM on November 24, 2011 and the race will begin at 8 AM. The registration fee is $17.00. Proceeds will go to local Blue Ridge charities. All participants are asked to please donate a non-perishable food item on the morning of the event. All the food donated will be given to the local food bank.
